Assignment 2- Task 5- Final Ident.

Assignemt 2- Task 4- Be able to produce a television ident to a brief.

First of all I had imported all the images I took onto Premiere Pro. Then I had put them all on the timeline and made them each the same timing. I did this by dragging from the right side and to the left. 

When I did this I realised that I could make them all the same length by clicking 'cmd R'. This brought up a box which I could change the timing of each of the images. I changed them all to 00:00:00:03. This made the ident flow more and look more realistic.

I then imported the sound that I wanted for the final ident. When I did this I made it 30 seconds long and then I faded it out at the end to make a more soft ending. 

For the ending I faded out the image and while that happens I made 'z' appear everywhere at different times and then halfway I added the CBeebies logo in the middle to identify the channel. I did this by clicking on 'Title', 'New Title' then 'Default Still'. I had added the z's and CBeebies on different titles so I could make them fade in a different times. 

I had faded the z's in by using the pen tool and clicking on the line twice and dragging the line to where I wanted it to be.

Potential problems and how to overcome these problems: 1.     If the camera has any problems when shooting I will make sure I tell the school and ask to borrow another one. 2.       If the filming takes longer than planned then I should inform the school so they know. 3.       If any of the equipment breaks then I will make sure that I have extra equipment so it does not take longer than expected.

Proposal

I will produce a 30-60 second TV ident for the TV channel CBeebies. This will be aimed at young children aged 1-6 years. The TV ident will be suitable for the children to watch in between the programmes shown on the channel. This TV ident will feature different images from a single shot, I will move the toy step by step and take an image from every movement of the toy. This will all be shot in either a home, park or bedroom. The TV ident will have one toy in, I will make the toy look like it is moving after having made the TV ident. The toy will look like it is participating in a certain activity that a child would take part in. There will be no need of any facts in the TV ident because it is a quick advert that is identifying the channel. At the end of the ident I will make CBeebies appear on the screen to identify the channel clearly. Filming will not be needed for this TV ident, I just need a normal camera that takes images and then I will edit the ident using Adobe Premiere Pro at my school, Robert Clack. My final budget will be approximately £150. END
